We drove from Udaipur to Jaipur today. Almost the whole day. Eating, talking, and playing cards in the bus. 405 km or 10 hrs.

Staying at the Golden Tulip. Definitely a couple of steps down compared to the Sheraton. The people and service is great though.

To the Amber Fort. We took a jeep up. Skipped the elephant ride up. Several levels to visit and view the architecture.

The first picture is the Wind Palace. The last is the Lake Palace. Built when the ground was dry and the dug out so the monsoon season can fill the lake. It was made for the king and his concubines. So the Queen could not visit.
