Tigers With Two Legs

Our guide was very proud of his city and kept comparing Udaipur to Jaipur. How much cleaner, less corrupt, less beggars, and no “tigers with two legs” aka hookers. I was surprised he kept mentioning hookers on our family trip. Later at dinner, we discussed the day and Kish had to set us straight. The guide was saying hookers but it was lost in translation. He was saying hawker or peddler. Not hooker and not hukka. We did see a hukka cafe also. That got us laughing till we cried.

In all though, Santoosh is a great guide and we would use him again.
