Well, we made it to the motherland. But not without a few bumps. Today started out bad. Bell was running a fever 100+ at 4:00 am this morning. I lost my iPhone during the trip from the house, loading the car, and driving to see a doctor. I thought I left it in the mailbox (wasn’t thinking right). Luckily I had left it in Bella’s room. We did not get to see a doctor before we left but here temp is down

The flight from Atlanta to Paris was fine. The whole trip started out late and it seemed to escalate. We had coffee and croissants in Charles De Galle airport. Paris was covered in snow. We had to take a shuttle to the plane and walk up a boarding ramp. Seemed like I was back in the 70’s. Never been so close to the engines before. They were off. Airplane seats are not made for broad shoulders. And I’m an average size guy. I had a middle seat. I watched Star Trek on my iPad. That was great. I know it’s for Bella but she slept all the way.

The flight to Paris to Bombay was just as cramped. i did have a window seat for most of the fight. Bells sleeping again. I watched a bit of asterix and obolix (I still remember the cartoons) and The Other Guys. That was pretty funny. We arrived at 1am with a few power naps.

We were greeted by my mum her friends and drivers/helpers from gaam. She was ecstatic to see us all together. This is the first time to India for Neeta and Bella. I was here in 77. We finally got to the hotel at 4am for a few hours of sleep until the next plane to start our tour. Its 7:22am and time to rise

I miss my iPhone and free wifi.

Safari In Ranthambore

Had to wake at 6 am this morning for our safari at 7am. I think Kish's dad had the right idea. Stay at the hotel. It was freezing. Bone chilling cold. And the ride...well let's just say shocks and struts are optional. Foam in the seats would have been good and even...
